The mount bracket is heavy 1/4" steel welded to a 9" steel piping. A 1/4" hole in the bottom serves as a drain during washing or a rainstorm even though your mount comes with a reusable high gloss rain cap when not in use. It has a heavy high gloss powder coat finish and comes with all new cap screws, flat and lock washers plus a 3/8" thick X 1-1/2" round bumper attached to the inside bottom of the mount to reduce flag pole vibration. The kit also includes a sealed 30' roll of sizing band to achieve that perfect fit of your flagpole to your Patriot Mount. Detailed instructions with installation tips, safety tips and warnings are included. All mounts have a "High Gloss BLACK" powder coat finish.
